Tekcapital has entered into a strategic alliance with InSitech, Inc. to market InventionEvaluator.com to US government agencies and national laboratories. Through the Invention Evaluator (inventionevaluator.com) acquisition, announced July, the Group added a complementary service to its offering to enable clients to further assess and extract value from the commercial potential of new technologies and intellectual properties (IP). InSitech is a professional services firm that provides commercialisation, business and strategic planning assistance to the US military, other government agencies and private sector clients. The directors believe there are approximately 700 federally funded laboratories in the US and that Invention Evaluator will enable them to more effectively determine the commercial opportunities that could be derived from the development of new technologies in these facilities.
