Marmota Limited and WPG Resources Form Strategic Alliance for Aurora Tank Gold Project

Marmota Limited have executed a Memorandum of Understanding to investigate cooperating for the development of Marmota's Aurora Tank gold project and the treatment of Aurora Tank gold ore through the Challenger plant. Marmota is exploring different avenues to bring Aurora Tank into production. On 30 October 2017, Marmota reported the first metallurgical test work from Aurora Tank returned 94 to 97% gold recoveries.

Aurora Tank is located just 50 km NE of WPG's Challenger plant. Under the non-binding MoU, the parties will investigate ways for the processing of Aurora Tank gold ore at Challenger, whether by toll treatment, joint venture, profit sharing or other arrangements that they may agree.

Marmota Limited is an Australia-based mining exploration company. The Company is focused on gold, copper and uranium. The Company's projects include Gawler Craton, Copper Coast, Yorke Peninsula and Junction Dam. The Companyâs copper project is based at the Melton project on the Yorke Peninsula. The Company's uranium project is at Junction Dam adjacent to the Honeymoon mine. The Gawler Craton gold project comprises around 6,000 square kilometers in the Woomera Prohibited Area. It has been active on the Champion Prospect in the West Melton tenement (100% owned), on the Copper Coast of the Yorke Peninsula. Junction Dam is the Companyâs flagship uranium project, located 50 kilometers (km) west of Broken Hill.
