Marriott International has appointed of two new directors in the sales and revenue department across the largest cluster of Marriot in the region comprising the Six Wasl owned hotels; Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre Le Meridien Fairway, Aloft & Element Al Mina and Aloft & Element Dubai Airport. Jivesh Sehgal has been appointed as Multi-Property Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative sales and marketing strategies aimed at expanding the hotel?s market share while driving revenue growth and enhancing the guest experience. Annemarie Goani has been appointed as Complex Director of Revenue and will be in charge of driving strategic development and business planning to gain competitive market share.

Sehgal, having started his career in India working with Luxury properties like Kempinski and Oberoi, then moved to Dubai in 2014. In his career he has helped several hotel conferencing facilities gain traction, and thrive, including Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre where he previously worked in 2014 until 2016, before moving to Grand Hyatt Dubai from 2016 to 2021 After five years with the Grand Hyatt Dubai, he joined the of the InterContinental Hotels Group cluster in the region where his last position was Cluster Director of Sales leading all segments of sales for four brands, with 1,600 keys in total. Annemarie Goani has been in her position since the start of 2023 and plays a vital role in overseeing revenue management strategies, pricing, and distribution.

Since taking on the role Goani has proven her ability to evaluate industry trends and execute innovative pricing and yielding techniques, contributing to a major rise in the total revenue of the properties, overseeing 1,247 guest rooms across the six-hotel portfolio. Having started her career as a Revenue Executive in 2009 at major airport hotels, such as the Sheraton Skyline Hotel and Conference Centre in London Heathrow, she then went on to the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel to embark on her new journey in Dubai in 2011, managing numerous hotels within Marriott International?s portfolio in Dubai. In 2016, she moved to Sheraton Dubai Creek as Director of Revenue before taking on her new role as Complex Director of Revenue.

She possesses deep knowledge of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques, and with Goani?s analytical skills and proficiency in revenue management systems and tools, she provides valuable insights and recommendations to drive revenue performance across the organization.
