Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is America's 2nd largest producer of granulates and construction materials. Net sales break down by family of products as follows: - granulates and construction materials (94.5%): granulates (58.7% of net sales), ready mixed concretes (21.9%), road surfacing materials and asphalts (9.9%) and cement (9.5%); - magnesium-based chemical products (5.5%): intended for industrial, agricultural and environmental applications. The group also proposes dolomitic chalks for the steel industry. The United States accounts for 98.6% of net sales.
