Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. is an integrated circuit manufacturing company. The Company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a range of linear and mixed-signal integrated circuits for customers in diverse geographical locations. It has wafer manufacturing facility in the United States, test facilities in the Philippines and Thailand, and sales and circuit design offices around the world. The Company's products are designed through a centralized research and development (R&D) function, are manufactured and assembled using centralized internal and external manufacturing, and sold through a sales force and shared wholesale distributors. The end-markets in which its products are sold are the automotive, communications and data center, consumer, and industrial markets.
