Montpellier, France, June 6 2016 – MEDTECH (Euronext, FR0010892950 – ROSA), a company specialized in designing, developing and marketing innovative surgical assistance robots, has announced today that it will feature its ROSA® robot at three major congresses in June.
 

The annual congress of the SFCR (French society of spine surgery)
This event, due to take place in Lyon, France from June 9 to 11, gathers the entire community of spine surgeons in France. On this occasion Medtech will be giving demonstrations of its ROSA® robot at Booth #19.

During the congress, Dr. Cyrille CAPEL, neurosurgeon at Amiens-Picardy University Hospital, will present the clinical results of a series of twenty patients who underwent pedicle screw fixation spine surgery with the ROSA® robot (June 10 at 10:00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. local time).
 

The annual congress of the DGNC (German Society of Neurosurgery)
This congress will take place from June 13 to 15 Frankfurt in Germany and Medtech will be present on Booth C2-36. Germany is the leading European market for neurosurgery, with more than 1,400 hospital centers offering treatment of disorders of the central nervous system (brain and spine).

During the congress at Medtech's booth, Dr. Thomas FREIMAN from Frankfurt University Hospital will present his scientific conclusions on biopsies performed with the ROSA® robot.

Prof. Mohammad MAAROUF, neurosurgeon at Krankenhaus Merheim in Cologne, will present the results of his clinical activity for robotic-assisted brain surgery (June 14 at 9.30 a.m. local time).

Prof. Michael WINKING from Osnarbrück clinic will be sharing his experience and speak about the advantages of using ROSA® for spine surgery (at midday on June 14).
 

The annual congress of the ASSFN (American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery
This scientific meeting held from June 19 to 21 in Chicago, USA, will gather experts from leading American neurosurgery centers. Those in the field will be able to learn about using ROSA® for brain surgery (Booth #105).
