Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2016. For the nine months, the company reported net sales of ¥46,653 million against ¥44,751 million a year ago. Operating income was ¥987 million against ¥633 million a year ago. Ordinary income was ¥1,376 million against ¥835 million a year ago. Profit before income taxes was ¥1,491 million against ¥840 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥988 million or ¥17.66 per share against ¥416 million or ¥7.44 per share a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2017. For the year, the company expects net sales of ¥71,000 million, operating income of ¥2,300 million, ordinary income of ¥2,500 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥1,590 million or ¥28.40 per share.
