Tomas Spurny, 50, will become new CEO of GE Money Bank in CR as of Oct. 1, 2015, taking over from Sean Morrissey who leaves after more than four years to hold a position within GE Capital, adding that the change has nothing to do with the future sale of the bank. The appointment needs approval from the regulator.

Spurny's last position was that of CEO of BCR. He has experience of more than 30 years in the financial sector, with positions such as CEO and CFO held at CIB Bank, PPF, Komercni banka, CCS CR and VUB Banka Intesa Sanpaolo.
