The Company operates in four segments: Highways, which offers planning, design, maintenance and operations service to highway operators; Government and Business Services, which provides a range of services, including business process outsourcing functions, such as information technology, revenues, payroll and pensions’ services, together with property management, estates management and civil/structural engineering to local government and education authorities; Management Consulting, which it provides strategic change consultancy, transformational consultancy and other management consultancy services, and Regulated Industries, which works in water supply and wastewater management, waste management, energy generation and distribution. In October 2011, it disposed its pipeline design business to Mott MacDonald Limited.
