Northern Mining Limited (ASX: NMI) has received a few shareholder email queries recently on the performance of its share price.

The Company is not able to comment on its share price performance as that is a function of the market and not within the Company's control. The Company also wishes to assure shareholders that there has not been any material development which has not been announced on ASX. The Company will make the necessary announcements on a timely basis, as and when there are material developments.

The Company would like to take this opportunity to update its shareholders that Mr Tony Ong, Chairman of NMI and Mr Gerald Woon, Vice-chairman of NMI, together with Mr Alan Lockett, Head of Special Projects, NMI Limited, had made a trip to China from 28 July 2016 to 3 August 2016 to:

  1. View the Company's Arcatamu Goldmine Project in Tuoli County in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region;
  2. Meet with Xinjiang Nanwo Mining Limited ("Nanwo Mining") to discuss the drilling programme; and
  3. Meet with SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd to discuss their assaying services.

The Company is also currently reviewing its plan to recommence a drilling programme for its tenements in Australia, given a rally in gold prices since the start of 2016.
