Oiltanking Partners, L.P. (NYSE: OILT) (the “Partnership”) announced today that the board of directors of its general partner declared an increase in the quarterly cash distribution to $0.2725 per unit, or $1.09 per unit on an annualized basis, for the third quarter of 2014. This distribution represents a 4.8% increase over the $0.26 per unit distribution declared with respect to the second quarter of 2014 and a 22.5% increase over the $0.2225 per unit distribution declared with respect to the third quarter of 2013. The quarterly distribution will be paid on November 14, 2014, to unitholders of record as of the close of business on November 3, 2014.

The Partnership will announce its third quarter 2014 financial results after market close on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. The Partnership will not host a third quarter earnings call.
