PROVENTEC : Board appointment

Proventec plc (Alternext:ALPTC), the provider of specialist steam cleaning technologies, announces today that Samir El-Assal has been appointed to the Board of Proventec as Chief Operations Officer with immediate effect.
Samir El-Assal has been the Managing Director of Frank GmbH ("Frank"), a Proventec portfolio company, since 2006. Prior to Frank, he spent five years as a management consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP. Samir holds a MBA from Ohio University in the United States of America.
As previously outlined in the announcement made on 4 September 2013, the Company is also pleased to announce that on 30 September 2013 the acquisition of the minority stake in Frank, a manufacturer and distributer of automated cleaning systems and products, was completed successfully for a consideration of 40,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company. As part of the current round of fundraising a further 4,000,000 ordinary shares were also issued on 30
September 2013.
The 44,000,000 new ordinary shares will be admitted to trading on Alternext.
