PACIFIC ALLIANCE ASIA OPPORTUNITY FUND LIMITED - IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION (THE COMPANY)I refer to my appointment as Joint voluntary liquidator and our letter to the registered shareholders dated 11 December 2015 (the Letter). I am pleased to advise that a distribution representing approximately 98% of your interest in the Company has been effected today. As advised in the Letter, the total distribution will be in two tranches.
The first tranche comprised cash or Feeder III shares, depending on preferences expressed, and represents the value of the Company's investment in Feeder III based on the applicable NAV of
$1.852 per share, less a reserve of approximately 2% to provide for the Company's liabilities, the costs of the liquidation and any potential contingent liabilities (the Reserve).
The second tranche will comprise any balance of the Reserve and will be in cash This final distribution will be effected following the final meeting of investors that we are required by Cayman Islands law to hold prior to the dissolution of the Company. We will write to you again shortly to provide copies of our final report and accounts, to confam the time and place of the final meeting and when you should expect to receive the final distribution.
