Paul Wilkes, former Technical Director with Halo Post, has joined Pinewood Studios Group as Head of Picture Post Production. A client-facing technical lead with almost 25 years of industry experience in broadcast and post production, during his tenure with Halo, the company received Best Post Production House at the 2014 Broadcast Awards.

Wilkes won two highly coveted tenders and subsequently built and ran two central London, full post facilities dedicated to BBC output. He was Technical Director of award-winning Soho facility Dubbs-Eyeframe, and time spent with Soho facilities such as 3DTV and Virgin's West One TV. He also has experience in project management and business development roles for broadcasters, post houses and cloud based workflow and media asset management platforms including ChilliBean and BASE Media Cloud.

Commenting on Wilkes' appointment, Nigel Bennett, Pinewood's Group Director, Digital Content Services said:
