Belarusbank and a syndicate of Russian banks signed a syndicated loan agreement on the sidelines of the 21st Saint Petersburg International Banking Conference. The official signing ceremony was held on 15 July 2016.

The multilateral deal signed on the margins of the conference organised by Promsvyazbank has once again confirmed the willingness of Russian banks to lend to Belarusian borrowers. The syndicate banks included Promsvyazbank, Alfa Bank, and Transcapitalbank, which acted as mandated lead arrangers, with Alfa Bank acting as agent bank.
