TRADING STATEMENT AND RESULTS PRESENTATION

TRADING STATEMENT

PSG Group's objective remains to create long-term wealth for its shareholders through capital appreciation, investment income or both. Accordingly, and as PSG Group is classified as an Investment Entity in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards, its trading statement measure is net asset value per share ("NAVPS").

In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the prior corresponding period.

PSG Group, accordingly, hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that its NAVPS as at 28 February 2022 will be between R127.00 and R128.00, representing an increase of between 38.4% and 39.5% when compared to the R91.76 reported as at 28 February 2021. It is important to note that the NAVPS as at 28 February 2022 does not account for the financial effects of the potential PSG Group restructuring referred to in the detailed cautionary announcement dated 1 March 2022 and in the renewal of such cautionary announcement dated 13 April 2022, including the potential tax and restructuring costs payable in respect thereof.

This financial information has not been reviewed or reported on by the auditor of PSG Group. PSG Group's reviewed results for the year ended 28 February 2022 will be published on Monday, 25 April 2022.
