PSI Software : again awarded by FOCUS-Business for top climate commitment

Berlin, December 14, 2023 - For the third time in a row, the PSI Group has been recognized by FOCUS-Business as one of the German companies with top climate commitment. As in the previous year, the selection was carried out together with research partner FactField and Prof. Dr. Stefan Schaltegger from the Centre for Sustainable Management (CSM) at Leuphana University Lüneburg.

A total of 205 companies were recognized for their top climate commitment, including seven from the IT industry group. In the run-up to the awards, 6,700 companies based in Germany were invited to take part in an extensive online survey to report on their commitment to date, their corporate climate management and the improvements they had made. The information was verified using secondary data research and companies that had not taken part in the survey were also assessed.

For PSI, social responsibility and sustainability in customer projects and its own processes have been of particular importance since the company was founded in 1969. PSI supports the sustainability goals of the United Nations and places a special focus on sustainable energy supply and production as well as resilient infrastructures and sustainable cities with innovative software products.
