Jasa Marga Successfully Recorded a Profit Increase of up to 34.4% through Consistently Sustaining Positive Performance until the Third Quarter of 2022

Jakarta (11/15) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (the "Company") consistently maintains positive performance until the third quarter of 2022, including a 34.4% increase in net profit over the third quarter of 2021. Performance the Company experienced an increase, which was reflected in the achievement of Operating Revenues of Rp. 10.2 trillion, a growth of 23.7%, that was the contribution from the performance of Toll Revenues of Rp. 9.3 trillion, a 22.6% increase, and the performance of Other Operating Incomes of Rp. 892.1 billion, a 36.3% increase from the same period the previous year.

The company's traffic volume had already increased as a result of the operation of new toll road segments and a rise in community mobilization. Additionally, the Company's EBITDA increased by 20.3% in accordance with the improvement in Toll Revenue performance in the third quarter of 2022. With the operation of several new toll roads and the Company's efficiency initiatives, the realization of EBITDA Margin already reached 63.3%.

As part of its corporate strategy to balance the growth and sustainability of the Company's business, Jasa Marga will keep up its asset recycling program throughout 2022 in order to optimize the business portfolio of the company. As a follow-up to the Company's plan to obtain new equity-based funding, the Company is currently putting together an equity fundraising program through PT JTT.

The Company currently maintains 50% of all operating toll roads in Indonesia or 1,260 kilometers of the total 1,809 kilometers of toll road concessions it owns. Jasa Marga Marga is completely dedicated to achieving the set goals as efficiently as possible when managing toll road projects that are scheduled to be completed in stages between 2022 and 2025 and will continue to control toll road construction activities through constructing in stages.

The six projects consist of the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road for Package III Sukabungah-Sadang and Setu-Sukabungah Package II, the Ngawi-Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road for the Kediri-Kertosono Section, and the Bogor Ring Road Toll Road for the Semplak-Junction Section. Salabenda, the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi toll road for the Probolinggo-Besuki segment, the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road, and the Gedebage-Cilacap toll road for the Gedebage-North Garut segment.

The company has committed to focusing on work quality, workplace safety, and the use of domestic products. Jasa Marga has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesian universities, including Bandung Institute of Technology and Gadjah Mada University, to develop innovation and improve the quality of the toll road. This MOU seeks to realize a toll road business that is dependable, safe, and comfortable, as well as environmentally friendly and sustainable, and a means of growth in the fields of education, research, and community service.

Jasa Marga has accomplished the arrangement of the Bali Mandara Toll Road based on green environment and green energy as a form of support for Indonesia's November 2022 G20 Presidency. Numerous efforts to develop technology-based innovations for toll road operations inclusive of efforts to realize sustainable toll roads are continuously made to improve services to road users.

Jasa Marga will also keep striving to be participated in the community until the third quarter of 2022 through maintaining the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. This program is based on the idea of "Creating Shared Value" (CSV). Providing help for the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMK) in the form of help with facilities, equipment, and business infrastructure, inclusive of help paying rent for tenants in Rest Area Km 88 B of Cipularang Toll Road and Rest Area Km 207 A of Palikanci Toll Road.

The Company has taken a variety of steps to enhance its performance during the recovery phase. These include committing to meet toll road Minimum Service Standards, controlling interest costs by refinancing, controlling toll road construction activities by making sure the right investment credit loans are in place and increasing the use of integrated technology in the toll road industry.
