Swisscom submits request for cancellation of untendered PubliGroupe shares
Lausanne, 19 September 2014 - PubliGroupe was informed today that Swisscom, as the holder of over 98% of PubliGroupe shares that were acquired during the public tender offer that was concluded on 5 September has submitted a request to the Vaud Cantonal Court for the cancellation of all remaining publicly held shares of PubliGroupe.
Swisscom previously announced this step in the prospectus for its public tender offer as well as in the press releases from 29 August and 5 September 2014. The process is anticipated to take approximately 5 to 6 months, after which time the untendered shares shall be declared void. The minority shareholders will be compensated with CHF 214 per share which represents the offer price.
