Moses Lake, Washington USA – February 25, 2024, REC Silicon ASA (“REC Silicon” or the “Company”) informs that an inspection of the Company’s Moses Lake facility by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (“Labor & Industries”) occurred on February 13, 2024

The inspection was a required response to a complaint received by the Labor & Industries concerning various topics pertaining to the Moses Lake facility. 

Typically, inspections consist of various steps in the review process, which could include a tour of the Moses Lake facility, interviews of randomly selected employees, review of policy, procedures, and work practices. REC Silicon takes these inspections seriously and cooperates fully with the process. REC Silicon does not expect any significant negative findings and will provide an update upon the completion of the review, which is expected in the next couple of weeks.

Production at the site continues and is progressing towards the first shipment, which is still expected within this quarter.
