Waiver::Application for extension of time to hold Annual General Meeting for FY2021

APPLICATION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING FOR

FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 30 APRIL 2021

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Renaissance United Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce that on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, an application was made to the Singapore Exchange Regulation Pte. Ltd. ("SGX-RegCo") for an extension of time to hold its annual general meeting for the financial year ended 30 April 2021 from the current deadline of 30 August 2021 to 30 September 2021("Extension").

The reason for the Extension is that the audit of its financial statements would not be completed in time for it to hold its annual general meeting which should be held by 30 August 2021 as the Company's auditors require more time to assess the impairment worksheet and valuation reports prepared by independent valuers that were sent through by the Company.

The Company has also made an application to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority ("ACRA") on Tuesday, 10 August 2021 for an extension of time under the Companies Act ("ACRA application") to hold its annual general meeting and to file the required returns by 30 September 2021 and 30 October 2021, respectively. The ACRA application is being processed.

The Company will update its shareholders on the outcome of the Extension application and the ACRA application in due course.

In the meantime, the Board wishes to advise shareholders and investors to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company. Persons who are in doubt as to the action they should take should consult their stockbrokers, bank managers, solicitors, accountants, or other professional advisers.
