RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug 26, 2014) - Ressources Appalaches (TSX VENTURE:APP)(FRANKFURT:OU3), is pleased to announce results from 16 drill holes totaling 2,022 m made at the Dufferin Mine in Nova Scotia. An exceptional 287 g/t (9.2 oz/t) gold was intersected over 1 meter in hole F14-15 at 195 m of the surface corresponding to the vein # 6.

The main purpose of the drilling program is to explore under the galleries in exploitation mainly the veins 3 to 6 located between 75 and 200 m from the surface but also for the development of galleries toward east. Drill results are comparable to those of previous drilling campaigns completed on the property and veins were intersected as anticipated.

The following table presents the significant results.

Since 2008, more than 18 quartz veins of the "Saddle Reef Vein" type have now been identified at the Dufferin Mine. The gold-bearing anticline structure has been followed for 1.4 km and down to a depth of nearly 400 metres. The veins are sub horizontal juxtaposed one above the other with 20 to 40 meter spacing.Vein #1, which starts at the mine portal and plunges 8-10° to the east, was systematically followed over a distance of 1,200 meters, to a depth of 200 meters. Previous work indicated twelve other veins beneath the #1 vein, also extending eastwards. In addition, new veins have been located above the #1 in eastern part of the property.

Production

The mine currently provides access and operates the first four veins. For further details on production, see Company's Press Release of 21-08-2014.

Analysis Procedure

The samples were taken by splitting the core according to industry standards and they were submitted along with standards, blanks and duplicates at regular intervals. The analyses were performed by ALS Laboratory Group for gold using conventional metallic screening. Half of the drill core has been preserved and all holes are stored at the site of the Dufferin Mine in Nova Scotia.
