NTT DOCOMO, INC. Announces Partnership with RSUPPORT Co., Ltd. and OrangeOne Corporation to Establish Joint Venture to Sell Remote Support Solutions Outside Japan; Appoints Yuji Araki as Head of Joint Venture

NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced that in partnership with RSUPPORT Co., Ltd. and OrangeOne Corporation, it will establish a joint venture company named mobidoors to sell customer care and other remote support solutions to mobile network operators and mobile phone manufacturers outside Japan. The company will launch on March 25. The joint venture will pursue opportunities for remote solutions outside of Japan by leveraging RSUPPORT's technical expertise, OrangeOne's system management knowhow and DOCOMO's experience in providing customer support and relationship with overseas mobile network operators and mobile phone manufacturers. In addition to selling remote operation and support solutions for smartphone users, the company will provide operational and maintenance support for solution systems. It also will sell RSUPPORT products. NTT DOCOMO will hold a 55% stake, RSUPPORT will own 40% and OrangeOne will own 5%.
The company will be headed by President Yuji Araki and will start with a staff of eight.
RSUPPORT Co., Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in the production and provision of remote support services and remote support software. The Companyâs products mainly consist of remote calls, remote view, remote wake on lan (WOL), remote application programming interface (API) and liteCam high definition (HD). The Companyâs subsidiaries consist of Rsupport K. K, Rsupport (China) Technologies and Rsupport Inc. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, Japan and the United Sates.
