Saint-Gobain announces that it has signed an agreement for the sale of its treated wood products business (posts, fences, railings) in Ireland (PDM) and the UK (Calders & Grandidge), to the Iivari Mononen group.

'The assets sold include two production sites in Ireland and the UK, which generated sales of 50 million euros in 2023 and employ 80 people', says the building materials group.

The sale of PDM has already been finalized, and that of Calders & Grandidge, which remains subject to authorization by the French Competition Authority, should be completed by the end of 2024.
