Counting over 34 years of service in the banking, with both local and international exposure, Ayodhya Iddawela Perera is recognized as one of the outstanding personalities in the banking industry.

Starting her career at the entry level of Sampath Bank, a young and trailblazing bank, the journey continued in gaining experience covering all areas of banking, specializing in Corporate

• International Banking and Credit Control which paved the way for her to become the versatile Business Leader she is today.

Ayodhya, a qualified professional banker possesses a Master of Business Administration degree from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and was awarded "Senior Fellowship" from the Institute of Bankers - Sri Lanka in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the Sri Lankan Banking Industry. She is an alumnus of Girls' High School, Kandy.

Ayodhya as a value-driven business leader, firmly believes in teamwork and has over the years successfully upheld that culture in the Bank which is one of the key strengths of Sampath Bank.

As the upcoming Managing Director of Sampath Bank, her vision is expanding the horizon of the banking industry in Sri Lanka as a key driver of the economy.
