Bergen, 8 February 2024: Scana-owned PSW Power & Automation is selected by a
Swedish company to supply a portfolio of BESS projects for grid support. In
addition to the battery systems, PSW will supply an innovative control
technology that helps stabilize the frequency in the Nordic grid and control
solar production at the same time. The total value is classified as sizeable (1)
for the company. The project will start immediately, and delivery will take
place in Q3-2024.

Sweden's new electricity production comes from solar power; however, electricity
generated from renewables can be highly variable hence the need for batteries.

PSW's BQ is a modular energy storage system with an integrated energy control
solution that maximizes the revenues from solar production, energy trading and
frequency regulation.

"After a very successful collaboration on the first BESS delivery we had with
this customer with this customer in 2023, we are proud that they have chosen us
as the supplier of seven new BESS sites", says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director
in PSW Power & Automation.

PSW Power & Automation has several ongoing projects in Sweden and have recently
opened a Swedish branch to secure an even larger market share.

(1) A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50
million.
(2) A substantial contract is between NOK 50 million and NOK 150 million.
(3) A large contract is over NOK 150 million.
