Hamilton, Bermuda, June 30, 2010 - Seadrill has taken delivery of the new
deepwater drillship West Gemini from the Samsung Shipyard in South Korea. The
unit was delivered on budget and one day ahead of original delivery schedule.
The vessel will carry out a simulated drilling operation in Korean waters before
relocation to Angola in West Africa to commence operations under a two-year
contract with Total.

deepwater drillship to Seadrill from the Samsung Shipyard and look forward to
