SEAENERGY PLC

Prestigious Innovation award for SeaEnergy PLC

SeaEnergy PLC, is pleased to announce that it has won the 'Business Innovation - SME' award at the prestigious Oil & Gas UK Awards ceremony on 5th November.

SeaEnergy's nomination was for its R2S Visual Asset Management system which provides the oil, gas and marine industries with a tool that increases operational safety and lowers cost by reducing the need to visit the plant or vessel.

The value of R2S in increasing efficiencies, improving collaboration and reducing operational expenditure (OPEX) has already been proven. In the current oil price environment, Operators need tools which help them to operate efficiently and safely, and R2S's credentials make it a powerful addition to the toolkit.

John Aldersey-Williams, CEO commented that:

'We are delighted to have received this prestigious award for innovation. To be nominated and to win under this category is particularly important and exciting to us at SeaEnergy. We work hard to foster a climate of innovation across our organisation, and this award is a fabulous recognition of our remarkable team.'

The innovative value of the R2S system is currently being trialled by another area of critical industry, the nuclear sector, with a pilot project recently undertaken in support of the decommissioning of Dounreay. The Oil & Gas UK Awards are the fourth prestigious award SeaEnergy has been shortlisted for since January 2015.

Ends.
