Şekerbank's Sustainability Report won two awards at the Vision Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of sustainability, organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).


Şekerbank's Sustainability Report was able to win two awards in LACP's Annual Report Competition, 2019/20 Vision Awards, held internationally by League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), under the titles Gold and Technical Achievement. Şekerbank's Sustainability Report ranked 53rd with 98 points in the 'Top 100' list selected among all reports.

In the letter sent to the Bank by LACP regarding the award, it was stated that the sustainability report of Şekerbank among the 6 thousand applications made in an unprecedented number of applications from many companies representing a wide variety of sectors and organizational dimensions worldwide, 'has exceptional features worthy of praise'.

Playing a pioneering role in sustainable banking based on its foundation mission to support social development and production, Şekerbank has documented its contribution to the sustainable development of the country with its Sustainability Report, with its economic, social and environmental impacts on key stakeholder groups, as well as its performance, which includes studies for digital transformation accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic all over the world. Since 2013, Şekerbank has been publishing a sustainability report every two years and presents it to stakeholders and the public.
