Servelec : Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea go-live with the Synergy admissions solution

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council has awarded their school admissions system contract to Servelec HSC. The contract win further builds on the relationship the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Servelec have built over the past eight years and the system will enable a single view of a child across Early Years and Admissions.

Following a market testing exercise and procurement activity, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea decided that Servelec provided the best solution available to help the council achieve the efficiencies required, whilst also improve their service to local schools. Servelec's Synergy system provides a powerful search and selection process so school place applications can be quickly retrieved and updated.

The Synergy modules to be deployed at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea include: Admissions Core, School Access Module and SysTalk. Communication with schools will be enhanced through a school facing module that has a secure live view to the admissions database.
