The Management Board and Supervisory Board of SFC Energy AG both attach great importance to regular two-way communication with our shareholders. We are also committed to meeting the highest international corporate governance standards. We recently received suggestions from dialogue with investors for evolving our corporate governance. We have taken these suggestions on board and, after Management Board and Supervisory Board discussions, implemented them as follows:

• The Supervisory Board has decided on a standard membership limit of twelve years for the Supervisory Board and has amended paragraph 5.4 of its rules of procedure accordingly.
• The Supervisory Board has also adopted a profile of requirements for the Supervisory Board.
• Our auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, has provided us with a statement of independence for publication on our website.
• The Management Board and Supervisory Board have updated the declaration of compliance, particularly following the adoption of the profile of requirements.
