Fatality at Impala 16

Shaft Sinkers Holdings plc (LSE:SHFT), the international shaft sinking and underground construction group, regrets to announce that an employee was  fatally injured  at its Impala 16 project in South Africa on Thursday 4 September.

Shaft Sinkers expresses its deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased worker, Mr. Martin Briedenhann.

Shaft Sinkers has dispatched a team to the site to undertake a full and thorough investigation into this deeply regrettable accident.

Shaft Sinkers Holdings specialises in the sinking of particularly deep and wide vertical and decline shafts and the development of underground infrastructure, used primarily in mining and hydropower applications.
