Power Machines OJSC has manufactured and tested the second 225 MW steam turbine for the sixth power unit of Belovskaya SDPP operated by Siberian Generating Company (SGC). The project for the plant's upgrade is included into the program of Capacity Delivery Agreements (CDA).

The parties signed an agreement to manufacture and supply two turbines each having a capacity of 225 MW complete with turbogenerators for the upgrade of Belovskaya SDPP in December 2010. As per the contract Power Machines are not only to manufacture and supply the turbines, turbogenerators and auxiliary equipment to the plant but also to perform supervision services during the equipment installation and commissioning works.

As the result of this upgrade overage turbines having total installed capacity of 400 MW will be replaced at the plant's power units No.4 and No.6. Unit No.4 is to be put into operation in December 2013 and unit No.6 - in the end of 2014. The upgrade will allow to improve the plant's reliability, as well as to increase the volumes of production of electrical energy required for further development of the region.

Power Machines OJSC is carrying out works on manufacturing the equipment for other SGC's plants as well. According to the concluded contacts Power Machines are to manufacture and supply two steam turbines each having a capacity of 120 MW for units No.4 and No.5 of Tom-Usinskaya SDPP, and also two 225 MW turbines and two turbogenerators of these turbines for units No.4 and No.6 of Belovskaya SDPP. The scope of contract obligations of the power engineering company includes supervision services during the equipment installation and commissioning works. The equipment shipping will be completed in June this year.
