Skanska AB (publ) announced that it invests PLN 126 million, about SEK 330 million, in the residential project Stilla in Warsaw, Poland. The project includes two adjacent buildings ? a four-story and an eight-story one, housing a total of 179 functional apartments.

The buildings will be equipped with innovative, eco-friendly solutions to enhance energy efficiency, reduce the carbon and water footprint, and positively impact the residents? comfort. This includes green roofs, photovoltaic panels, elevators with energy recovery and air quality sensors.

In addition, the apartments will be equipped with a smart home system, allowing remote control of lighting, electrical sockets and heating through a mobile app, enabling annual savings of up to 18 percent. The project will be certified according to BREEAM. Moreover, Stilla will have an inner courtyard, ideal for rest, recreation and meetings, and a common greenhouse, where residents will be able to cultivate their own plants and vegetables.

The project also includes improvement of the local urban infrastructure, such as new sidewalks, pavement, and lighting. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2024 and is due for completion in the fourth quarter 2025.
