Skanska together with its equal joint venture partner Obos, invests a total of NOK 1.1 billion in a new residential block in Fornebu, Norway. Skanska's share of the investment is NOK 555 million, about SEK 550 million. The construction contract, which Skanska will execute, is worth NOK 533 million, about SEK 530 million, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings in the first quarter 2024.

The new block consisting of 121 apartments is the most recent part of the larger residential development project, Nansenlokka. The project is a part of the FutureBuild program in Norway and has high environmental ambitions. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by between 30 and 50% compared to a similar, traditional, building.

Construction is expected to begin during the second quarter 2024 and the project will be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
