Unterföhring, 18 December 2014 - It has never been easier to stream premium content on TV screens. Beginning today, all existing and new subscribers to Sky Online and Snap can order the Sky Online TV Box powered by Roku. In a few simple steps Sky's new streaming box transforms every television with an HDMI port into a Smart TV. To get started and enjoy content within only a few minutes just plug the box into the TV, connect to the internet - via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi - and activate it with a Sky Online or Snap account.

The Sky Online TV Box unlocks endless entertainment on the TV from the Sky Online and Snap programming catalogue, featuring blockbusters, hit series, live sports, children's programming and documentaries. The Sky Online TV Box can be ordered now at the introductory price of €49.90 when ordered with the Sky Online (www.skyonline.de) or Snap (www.skysnap.de) service. The Sky Online TV Box was developed as part of a strategic partnership with the American streaming leader Roku, based on the Roku platform and its portfolio of award-winning streaming players. In addition to both Sky streaming services, customers also have access through the Roku Powered Channel Store to even more channels from a continuously expanding selection including Wall Street Journal Live, Vimeo, TuneIn Radio and special interest channels including FitnessMagazine and iFood.tv - with more to follow soon.
