SNOOZEBOX AND SILVERSTONE CIRCUITS ANNOUNCE FIVE-YEAR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AGREEMENT

Snoozebox Holdings plc (Snoozebox, AIM: ZZZ), the leading provider of portable hotel accommodation and services and Silverstone Circuits (Silverstone), the home of British motor racing, have signed a five year agreement that will see the two companies working closely together to develop the offering at the racetrack.

Silverstone attracts over a million visitors per year and hosts over 40 race events.  In addition to the racing calendar, Silverstone offers event and conferencing facilities to the wider corporate market.   Snoozebox has been working with Silverstone to promote the venue and now operates a second hotel to support the growth in conferencing and corporate events.  Snoozebox event hotels continue to supplement the venue for the major events during the season. 

This weekend sees the 50thGrand Prix to be held at Silverstone and the Snoozebox hotelis sold out with over 1,000 room nights sold over the four days, which kicks off on Thursday with the pit lanes being opened to fans and the Kaiser Chiefs performing in the evening.  From there, it's an action packed weekend of racing and Silverstone will welcome around 300,000race fans.  Snoozebox guests will enjoy the complete event package from tickets, hospitality to accommodation. 

Commenting on the announcement, Lorcan Ó Murchú, Chief Executive of Snoozebox, said, "We have been working in collaboration with Silverstone to develop further the original model of the event hotel.  The venue can now offer the motorsport sector and the wider corporate market a full range of event, conferencing, hotel accommodation and other services on site, all year round. 

The visitor experience has also been enhanced through joint initiatives such as integrating ticket sales with the hotel offering and other services to provide a seamless customer journey for a short break, right at the heart of the action."
