ECORODOVIAS WINS A NEW MOTORWAY CONCESSION IN BRAZIL

FOR A LENGTH OF 437 KM

• EcoRodovias won the tender for the 30-year management of the BR-364 /BR-365 motorway system (437 km long) connecting the States of Goiàs and Minas Gerais.
• This new success strengthens the role of the EcoRodovias Group among the main motorway operators of Brazil, with a total network of 3,087 km under management.

Tortona, 27 September 2019. EcoRodovias Infraestructura e Logistica SA, one of Brazil's main motorway operators, of which Astm and Sias have joint control, was awarded the tender for the management of stretches of the BR-364/GO and BR-365/MG motorways in Brazil.

The BR-364 /BR-365 motorway system is 437 km long, starting from the city of Jatai and going to the city of Uberlandia, linking the States of Goiàs and Minas Gerais.

The tender was launched by the Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (National Land Transport Agency - ANTT) of Brazil.

EcoRodovias presented the best offer with a reduction of 33.14% on the basic toll rate.

The final award and the signing of the 30-year concession contract will take place upon expiry of the deadlines for possible appeals, as provided for in the tender procedure.

In particular, the stretch of the BR 364/GO motorway runs for 193 km from the city of Jatai (in the state of Goiàs) to the interconnection with the BR 365/MG, whose stretch, which is 244 km long, goes to the city of Uberlandia (in the state of Minas Gerais).

The two arteries represent one of the most important routes for the transport of grain from the large agricultural areas of the centre-west part of the country to the Port of Santos and for the supply of food and industrial products for the States of Goiàs and Minas Gerais.

The new award strengthens the role of EcoRodovias among the main motorway operators in Brazil, with a total network of 3,087 km under management, allowing the Group to implement its strategic plan, focusing on core motorway infrastructure management activities and extending the duration of its own concessions in the portfolio.

In 2018, EcoRodovias had already expanded its motorway network by 850 km through the acquisition of the Rodovias Minas Gerais (MGO) concessionaire and the awarding of tenders for the Rodoanel Norte, in São Paulo, and the BR-135 MG, in Minas Gerais, motorways.
