In March 2015, SPI and the Sacramento Kings signed a 10-year strategic partnership where SPI will install a state-of-the-art rooftop solar PV system on Golden 1 Center, the Kings new entertainment and sports center, making it the first arena to use 100 percent solar power for its electricity.
