Ground-breaking new amenities in La Reserva Sotogrande

As we say goodbye to the summer months, several construction launches have taken place at La Reserva de Sotogrande, an exclusive and private enclave host of 47 villas including the penultimate 'The Seven' community and subject to significant construction activity with all the infrastructure being built and expected to be delivered in the spring of 2018.

Sandy Pool

Developments in La Reserva are leading the way on the Costa del Sol, with the first full sandy pool in both Spain and Europe .The 3,000 square metre sandy pool includes 500 square metres of water and beach dedicate to children. The bottom features an innovative sand base, which together with its beach area, gives it an authentic seaside feel. The sandy pool uses an advanced filtration system free of chemicals and will be delivered for our members' enjoyment next summer.

Sports Lagoon

Designed along the same principles, the 17,000 square metre sports lagoon offers a beautiful setting in which to enjoy activities such as optimist sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and pedalos in close proximity to the beach club and amid stunning views of the sea, hills and the La Reserva golf course.

The lagoon itself will have its own boathouse and summer café in close proximity also serving the children's area.

Beach Club

Work has also started on the adjoining beach club, which will provide 2,800 square metres of natural sand overlooking the pool and a full-service beachfront restaurant. It will be completed at the same time and will be the site of an elegant waterside club with 300 south and west-facing sun beds, exclusive bar service and an area dedicated to Balinese cabanas.

The restaurant will offer an indoor dining area for 76 guests and an expanded shaded terrace with a further 240 seats.

We will also complete a Tennis Pavilion to complement the existing four tennis courts, five paddle tennis courts and multi-sports court already in operation.
