Winners from the inaugural Sotogrande Grand Prix an international rally of vintage classics

The first edition of theSOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX®, saw Europe's most prestigious cars make their way from Seville's iconic Plaza De España, through cultural Cordoba and culminating with a Flying ¼ Mile into Sotogrande and Concours d'Elegance.

Winners of the SOTOGRANDE CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE® included an OSCA MT4 for Most Exciting Design, an ASTON MARTIN DB2 DHC received a special award by the jury 'Coup De Couer', and Best of Show won by a HISPANO 1910, the favourite car of Alfonso XIII, King of Spain.

The Porsche 356 A 1957 (car no.17) came first position in the SOTOGRANDE RALLY® 2017 and the Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 S 2016 (car no.105) came first position in the SOTOGRANDE GT TOUR® 2017.

The remarkable SOTOGRANDE CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE® showcased some of the world's finest cars, with award-winners judged according to the scrupulous guidelines of the International Chief Judge Advisory Group.

The winners of the SOTOGRANDE CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE® were as follows:

MOST ICONIC DESIGN - JAGUAR E TYPE 3.8 OTS S1 (below left - restored to very rare, original colour combination)

MOST PERFECT RESTORATION - MERCEDES 280 SL RESTORED BY BRABUS

MOST ELEGANT DESIGN - ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER CLOUD I MULLINER DHC (below right)

BESTPRESERVED CAR - PORSCHE 550A (one of the first manufactured by Ferdinand Porsche)

MOST EXCITING DESIGN - OSCA MT4 (the only one in Europe and one of three in the world)

SPECIAL AWARD BY THE JURY 'COUP DE COEUR' - ASTON MARTIN DB2 DHC (one of three to participate in Le Mans, 1949)

BEST OF SHOW - HISPANO 1910 (favourite of Alfonso XIII King of Spain)

The winners of the SOTOGRANDE RALLY® 2017 were as follows:

The winners of the SOTOGRANDE GT TOUR® 2017 were as follows:

1º 105 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 S 2016 (below right)

2º 110 Morgan 3 Wheeler 2015 (below left)

3º 108 Mercedes-Benz AMG 63 S Convertible 2017

BONHAMS international auction house, Ruinart, BMW, Porsche, Maserati, EY, and Stow VP Bank were among the brands that supported the event. Winners of the races won a limited edition Lebeau Courally watch worth €4,995. As the official timekeeper, Lebeau-Courally produced a limited edition of 25 timepieces with 44mm cases, featuring hours, minutes and date display, with the insignia of the event on a blue face and an elegant black alligator strap.

The SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX® focused on flawless mechanics, exceptional workmanship and exemplary car models that demonstrated engineering brilliance from a bygone age through to the near future. This was the first extension of the now very well-established and respected ZOUTE GRAND PRIX® which this year hosted its seventh edition at Knokke, Belgium.
