SpareBank 1 Østlandet (SPOL): Contemplating issuance of Additional Tier 1 bonds

SpareBank 1 Østlandet (Issuer rating Aa3 by Moody's) has mandated DNB Markets
and SpareBank 1 Markets for issuance of Additional Tier 1 bonds with floating
and/or fixed coupon with a volume of minimum NOK 300 million. The transaction is
subject to market conditions.

The potential issuance is approved by the issuer's Supervisory Board.
