MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) _ SentinelOne Inc. (S) on Tuesday reported a loss of $71.7 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Mountain View, California-based company said it had a loss of 27 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to 17 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 18 cents per share.

The cybersecurity provider posted revenue of $65.6 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $60.8 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $271.1 million, or $1.56 per share. Revenue was reported as $204.8 million.

For the current quarter ending in May, SentinelOne said it expects revenue in the range of $74 million to $75 million. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $70.2 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $366 million to $370 million.
