Delivery of Real-time Voting Platform for Globe Soccer Awards

Sports Stars Media plc, the Portuguese based sports animation and media company, announces that as part of its development partnership with Globe Soccer it has designed and delivered a real-time voting platform that will be used in the prestigious Globe Soccer Awards held in the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel, Dubai on 29 December 2013.

The event attracts leading figures from the world of football including owners, agents, players and managers and receives extensive media coverage. The bespoke social media voting platform will be used to elect the "The Fans Favourite Player of the Year Award". In return for developing the voting platform for the event, "The Game by Ronaldo" (the global crowdsourced football competition created by Sports Stars in conjunction with Cristiano Ronaldo) will feature in sponsorship slots during the event and Sports Stars will be represented at the awards by Joint CEO Carlos Amaro.

The Globe Soccer Awardsis an annual association footballaward ceremony, attended by the leading names from the international football industry. The ceremony is transmitted live on Dubai Sports Channel, The European Football Agents Association (EFAA) and  the European Club Association (ECA), as well as highlights being transmitted around the world.
