Change of Directorate

Sports Stars Media plc, the Portuguese based sports animation and media company, announces  the appointment of Sónia Magalhães as Finance Director and the resignation of Luís Freire as Finance Director, who is leaving to pursue other business interests, both with immediate effect.

The Board would like to thank Luís for his contribution to the Company and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Sónia Magalhães, 37, has been Managing Director of Planning and Control at Ongoing Group in Portugal since February 2010. Prior to that she was Chief Financial Officer at Metro Portugal from 2004 to 2009 and Finance Manager at Publiregiões Lda from 2002 to 2004. Sónia has a degree in Management from Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa.

Ruben Dias, Chief Executive Officer of Sports Stars, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Sonia to the Company at a time of significant progress and expectation for the business.
