Agreements for Mourinho and Special Ones - Trading Card Game with two leading Portuguese distributors

Sports Stars, the Portuguese based sports animation and media company, is pleased to announce that it has entered into agreements with two new distribution partners, for the distribution and marketing of Sports Stars' Mourinho and Special Ones - Trading Card Game ("MTC"), initially within Portugal. The agreements are with the multi-national distributor FNAC group and the Portuguese based media distributor VASP.

FNAC,www.fnac.com, is the leading distributor of DVDs, CDs and consumer electronics in France and a major distributor in Portugal, Spain and Belgium as well as having a presence in Brazil, Italy and Switzerland. Under the terms of its agreement it will distribute the MTC through a minimum of 1000 points of sale throughout Portugal.

VASP is Portugal's leading distributor for media related products and has an extensive range of sales channels including hypermarkets and supermarkets throughout the country. It also has a particularly strong presence in direct marketing.

Both of these distribution agreements follow the broadcast deal signed with the Portuguese TV channel SIC, announced on 28 May, for the right to air 'Mourinho and the Special Ones' ("MSO"), an animated television series featuring Jose Mourinho. The Mourinho Trading Card Game uses augmented reality elements embedded on the cards to help teach children football skills that they will have seen on the MSO TV series. The TV series will be broadcast commencing 31st August 2013 as part of the SIC children's "back to school" programming.
