STRAITS RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX: SRQ)
EXTENSION OF BRIDGE LOAN AND EXCLUSIVITY PERIOD
Further to the ASX announcements on 13 April 2015 and 11 June 2015, Straits Resources Limited (Straits or Company) is pleased to advise that Straits and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) have agreed to extend the period of the restructure of the Company's existing debts and refinancing (Refinancing Plan) until 29th July 2015. In addition, Straits, SCB and the Investor (as described in the ASX announcement of 11 June 2015) have also agreed to extend the exclusivity period of the Investor to coincide with the revised date for completing the Refinancing Plan (ie. 29 July 2015).
Straits' Executive Chairman, Andre Labuschagne said "Whilst the documentation of the various agreements is progressing positively and constructively, it is taking longer to complete than originally estimated."
Straits will continue to provide shareholders with material updates in line with its disclosure obligations under
ASX Listing Rule 3.1.
