The board of directors of Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. (Susquehanna) (NASDAQ: SUSQ) has declared a third quarter dividend of $0.09 per common share, payable on August 20, 2014 to shareholders of record on August 1, 2014. This represents an increase of $0.01 from the second quarter dividend of $0.08, and marks the 7th increase since the first quarter of 2011. "We are pleased to provide a dividend increase this quarter, and we remain committed to providing strong long-term returns to shareholders,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William J. Reuter.

Susquehanna expects to release second quarter 2014 financial results on July 23, 2014.
