Pami, the office and interior design specialist from Pelt, recently took care of the interior design of Telenet's office. How did Pami tackle Telenet's office? "The offices at Telenet function like a city," he says.

For starters, how did Telenet come to Pami?

In Telenet's selection process for this project, Pami stood out because of their presentation on their values and approach from concept to installation. This approach was very much in line with Telenet's standards and values. "The fact that Pami is a Belgian company also played a role in the decision process," says Peter Minnen, project manager at Telenet. "Pami offered the best answer to Telenet's needs by actively thinking along and designing custom solutions that met our needs. Pami is not only a supplier, but also a partner. They sat with us at the drawing board and came up with solutions in terms of furnishings, furniture and customization."

What changed in the Telenet office?

According to Kris Legroe, former Employee Services Director at Telenet, the main function of their office is one of a meeting place. "Because employees are working much more from home, the office stimulates the connection between employees among themselves and, in addition, with the culture of Telenet," says Legroe. "Together with Pami, as workspace designers, we worked out different concepts to support hybrid and agile working. The offices at Telenet function as a kind of city, where the atrium serves as a central square, similar to the Grote Markt. This is where people meet and move between departments. You'll also find our coffee bar there, which we expanded into a real business café."

Different types of workspaces were worked out on the floors, such as brainstorming, creative meeting and one-on-one spaces. There are also the traditional desks where people work by themselves or make phone calls. To facilitate focus work, Telenet designed the so-called library together with Pami. "Here employees have the opportunity to work with complete concentration."

How did the cooperation with Pami go?

"Very smoothly," Kris Legroe states resolutely. At the start of the project, Pami and Telenet exchanged ideas for a long time about the elaboration of the various concepts, but in the end everything was delivered within time and budget. "And that to the satisfaction of the project team, but also of all Telenet employees. They feel completely at home on the floors designed specifically for them," concludes Legroe.
