Tessco Recently Named Dave Eckelbarger New CEO and David Young New CFO

Tessco has officially merged with Alliance Corporation and GetWireless, effective July 17, 2023. As a result of this successful merger, Tessco recently announced Dave Eckelbarger has been named the company's new Chief Executive Officer, and David Young has been named the company's new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Eckelbarger is also currently serving as the CEO of Alliance HoldCo. He has 30 years of senior leadership experience across scaled distribution businesses in multiple industries. Before joining Tessco and Alliance HoldCo., Mr. Eckelbarger was the President of Brenntag Pacific from 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, he has held numerous leadership roles in a variety of functional areas for companies including Distribution International, Stericycle, Safety-Kleen, and more.

Mr. Eckelbarger received a bachelor's degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later attended Harvard Business School where he received an MBA in Business Administration and Management.

Mr. Young originally joined Tessco in 1999 and is returning to his previously held role as CFO. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Catalyte then Arena Analytics before rejoining the Tessco team.

Mr. Young received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management. He subsequently attended Harvard Business School where he completed the Advanced Management Program.

"It feels like a homecoming of sorts being back at Tessco," said Young. "While I am familiar with the company having already been a member of the team before, I am most excited about the potential we have to become a force and a household name in the telecommunications industry for years to come."
